Below are some highlights to understand the general scope of the project and key component information.

 What the space could look like

These are screen captures of a variety of instrument demonstration videos that are similar to production that will come out of Gryphon. Each has elements that could be incorporated into either the technology or the design of the space.

Benches are great because there are no armrests to get in the way while the musician is playing. Again, Carter is on brand with the vintage vibe reflected by the styling of the benches and Edwina mics.

We know this is all about electric guitars because of how the room is decorated. There is enough space behind the subject to create a greater depth of field which makes the background elements out of focus and draws viewer attention to the subject.

 Camera & Controller

For this project we recommend the Panasonic AW-UE150K and the Panasonic AW-RP150GJ controller. The PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) camera system address the goal to have a quick and uncomplicated set-up and can have multiple cameras be controlled from one location by one operator. Here are a few product demonstration videos that provide a brief overview of what the system can do.

Video Switcher

The video switcher system recommended for this project is the Blackmagic Design ATEM TV Studio. There are several ATEM options at different price points, that could be selected, based on budget and space constraints. The ATEM family of products is an affordable and reliable solution for this type production set-up.
